Returns & Refund Policy

At Thrift Americana, we specialize in authentic, pre-owned, vintage, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Because of the nature of thrifted and vintage items, we maintain a strict but fair return policy to protect both our customers and our business.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

All Sales Are Final (With Limited Exceptions)

All items are final sale unless a return is approved under the conditions outlined below.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect size or fit

  • Vintage fit differences

  • Normal wear consistent with pre-owned items

  • Minor flaws clearly shown or described in product photos

Returns Are Accepted ONLY If:

A return may be approved only if one of the following applies:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The item is significantly different from the description

  • The item is not authentic

All issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us at support@thriftamericana.com within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the issue

  • A brief explanation

Requests submitted after 48 hours will not be eligible for review.

Return Approval & Shipping

  • Returns must be approved before sending any item back

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the error was ours

  • Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

Unapproved returns will not be accepted.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Original shipping costs are nonrefundable.

  • Refunds are processed once the item is received and inspected

Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to appear, depending on your bank.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are offered only if the same item is available

  • Customers cover return shipping

  • We cover shipping for the replacement item

Due to limited inventory, exchanges cannot be guaranteed.

Condition & Measurements Disclaimer

All items are thoroughly inspected and photographed. Measurements are provided to help ensure proper fit.

We strongly recommend comparing listed measurements to a similar item you already own.

Vintage and thrifted items may show signs of prior wear, which are part of their character and uniqueness.

Chargebacks & Disputes

By completing a purchase with Thrift Americana, you acknowledge and agree to this return policy.

Chargebacks filed for reasons covered under this policy may be disputed with evidence of product listings, photos, and customer acknowledgment.
